10 years Escalo
Did you know. Escalo - comes from the Spanish "escala," meaning "ladder"? The Spanish naming sounded like a quality and elegant addition to a tough brand for all things ladders. So the 'a' at the end of the word became an 'o' to add a tough touch to the brand name as well.
Galico's product range grew enormously, making it necessary to review the brand strategy. For that reason, we looked at the layout of the ranges and in 2014 Escalo was born. Under the new brand name, it was easy to broaden the assortment and further expand the products.
Over the years, Escalo became a fixture not only within Galico, but also for our customers. In those 10 years, Escalo covered a great path and grew into a full-fledged brand that guarantees sturdy and quality products that meet the necessary standards and approvals.
With a wide range of ladders, step ladders and scaffolding for both home and professional use, Escalo offers something for everyone.
To celebrate Escalo's birthday we had a special edition designed of our Handy stepladder in the Escalo colors black and yellow.
